A dynamic husband and wife duo (Valerio Corzani & Erica Scherl), Interiors work in sync to create a twirling soundscape of obsessive grooves dissolved, reborn and shape-shifted into a shimmering sound world. Acid baroque strings play and dance in an incessant role exchange, never losing the percussive joint which drives the music forward.
A musical trip emerges, taking the listeners on a journey which is dreamlike but gritty, sensual and brash. Classical techniques are moulded into new and revealing forms with digital loops, electronic modification and word painting, layering the simplest of sounds into a deep, hypnotic and revealing coloured wash of sound.
Valerio Corzani (voice, hollowbody bass, tub bass, percussions, laptop and Iphone) and Erica Scherl (violin, looper, keyboard, live electronics).
