Paolo Martellacci

aka paolodjmartellacci

Paolo Martellacci is a composer, music producer, and sound engineer whose artistic practice moves across electronic music, electroacoustic composition, and contemporary sound experimentation.

Graduating with honours in Electronic Music from the “Ottorino Respighi” Conservatory in Latina, he combines creative work with an ongoing exploration of the expressive possibilities offered by sound and music technologies.

His compositions emerge from the interaction between acoustic instruments, electronics, and spatial sound design, creating immersive sonic environments where human gesture and digital transformation continuously interact. Drawing on percussion, live electronics, soundscapes, and acousmatic materials, his work investigates the relationship between listening, space, and perception.

Over the years, he has created music for concerts, installations, theater, film, and audiovisual productions, presenting his works at festivals, events, and contexts dedicated to contemporary and electroacoustic music.

For Bolsena Sonic, Martellacci presents an immersive listening experience rooted in contemporary sound research. Through acousmatic compositions, electronic textures, and timbral experimentation, he creates a sonic environment in constant evolution, inviting audiences to engage with sound not only as music, but as a perceptual and spatial experience.

A journey through textures, resonances, and subtle sonic details, where listening becomes a process of discovery and exploration.
